Red brick with ashlar dressings and hipped slate roof. House, with No.17 Lenton Road, built on site of old Park Bowling Green, established c1807. Main entrance bay on side of house with double leaf panelled main entrance door flanked by single windows with fixed leaded lights. Single storey canted window bay on garden front with single window opening above. To right, altered openings to create French window at ground floor level with enlarged window opening above. To right again, single storey early 20c extension with hipped roof and large canted bay window. Decorative brickwork details include buff brick banding and square inset panels to bays and eaves. Original rainwater fittings replaced and further pipework added. Glazing bar sash windows generally with later additions and alterations. Part of original brick boundary wall on road front replaced by later garage building and part of remaining section now rendered and painted. Unrendered section survives adjacent to location of original outbuildings. Brick and stone gate piers adjacent to garage. Original brick garden wall adjacent to No.13.
