Detached house c1882. Single household with flat. Three storeys, including attic storey, to front range overlooking garden. Pair of two storey projecting wings at rear facing road. Early single storey outbuilding, which abutted one of rear wings was demolished early 20c. Large three storey gabled side extension added early 20c. Part of side extension later removed to accommodate lean-to conservatory. Small single storey flat roofed extension added to rear wing. Plan for garage building by Swann & Wright for Mrs Flersheim c1920-30. Red brick facades with stone dressings. Two storey canted window bay on garden front with hipped plain tile roof and large gabled dormer above. Also on garden facade, two storey rectangular window bay with hipped roof and gabled dormer over. Single storey window bays on side facades. Decorative brickwork features including gable patterning; sawtooth detail at corbelled eaves, bay heads and string courses; moulded window reveals plus plinth stretchers. Some areas of brickwork have been rendered or painted. Stone door and window surrounds, lintels and sills plus copings, gable finials and kneelers. Stonework now painted. Gabled main roof and large side extension with hips to rear wings. Plain tiles with decorative clay ridge tiles and finials. Bonnet tiles at hips. Tall red brick chimney stacks with brick relief details, string courses and corbelled heads. Alterations to some stacks. Mainly red cannonhead chimney pots. Flat roofed dormer and roof windows added. Original rainwater fittings have been replaced. Predominantly double hung sash windows without glazing bars. Some alterations to windows, particularly to gabled dormers overlooking garden. Nine panelled main entrance door and half glazed inner porch screen with leaded lights. New door opening formed in bay window on garden front. Alterations to original brick and stone boundary wall to Cavendish Crescent North resulting from construction of later garage building and replacement of original gated opening with car access drive. Original garden gate opening within brick/stone piers and boundary wall on Clumber Crescent North. Gate opening now infilled.
